Section 1, General Release 

1.1 By becoming a member of the DFW Network Chamber and agreeing to our terms of service outlined on www.dfwnetworkchamber.org before you became a member, you now forever release the DFW Network Chamber and its affiliates, successors, officers, employees, representatives, partners, agents, board of directors, chairman, all companies and associated entities, venues, and anyone claiming through the DFW Network Chamber, in their individual and/or corporate capacities from any and all claims, liabilities, obligations, disputes, promises, agreements, demands, damages, causes of action of nature of any kind, known or unknown, which you, the member, has or may have in the future have against the DFW Network Chamber.

1.2 This release shall not be in any way construed as an admission by the DFW Network Chamber that it has acted wrongfully with respect to you, the member, or any other person, that admits liability or responsibility at any time for any purpose, or that you, the member, has any rights whatsoever against the DFW Network Chamber. 

1.3 This release shall be binding upon the parties and their respective heirs, administrators, personal representatives, executors, successors, and assigns. You may release the claims and will not assign or transfer any claims to other parties. The provisions of this Release are severable. If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. This release constitutes the entire agreement or understandings between the parties and supersedes any and all prior oral or written agreements or understandings between the parties concerning the subject matter of the release. This release may not be altered, amended, or modified, except by a written document signed by you, the member, and a minimum of six members of the DFW Network Chamber Board of Directors. The terms of this Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. 

1.4 All parties represent they fully understand their right to review all aspects of this release with attorneys of their choice, that they have had the opportunity to consult with attorneys of their choice, that they have carefully read and fully understand the provisions of this release, and that they are freely, knowingly and voluntarily entering into this release. 

1.5 You agree that the terms of this release do not end when you, the member, leave the DFW Network Chamber by termination or by your own will. The terms of this release will remain active until you pay your annual dues and an updated version of this release goes into effect. 

Section 2, DFW Network Chamber event/activities Release 

2.1 You and anyone claiming on your behalf release the and forever discharge the DFW Network Chamber and its affiliates, successors and assigns, officers, employees, representatives, partners, agents, and anyone claiming through them, in their individual and/or corporate capacities from causes of action of any nature and kind, known and unknown, which you may have against the DFW Network Chamber or any released parties arising out of related injuries, hospitalization, loss or damage to person and property that may be sustained as a result of participation in a DFW Network Chamber event or activity. 

2.2 You understand that participation in any DFW Network Chamber activity or event involves inherent risks, including risks of physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent paralysis, and/or death, and you assume all related risks and voluntarily participate in the activity or event. 

2.3 You agree to indemnify the DFW Network Chamber against all claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, and judgments, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or relating to your participation in DFW Network Chamber activities or events. 

2.4 You agree to follow the Center for Disease Control Guidelines and all health precautions set by the organizers of DFW Network Chamber events and activities. 

Section 3, Personal injury

3.1 You and anyone claiming on your behalf release and forever discharge the DFW Network Chamber and its affiliates, successors, and assignees, officers, employees, representatives, partners, agents, and anyone in their individual and/or corporate capacities from any and all causes of action known or unknown, which you had, has, or may have in the future against the DFW Network Chamber and any other released parties arising out of or relating to injuries, both physical or psychological. You agree to release the DFW Network Chamber and other released parties from any costs associated with treatments required for injury and damages. 

Section 4, Photography and Media

4.1 You agree to be photographed at DFW Network Chamber events and activities, unless you verbally instruct our photographers/videographers not to do so. 

4.2 You understand that any photos/videos that you may appear in are the property of the DFW Network Chamber and will be used for marketing purposes on the DFW Network Chamber website, social media accounts, and other marketing platforms and printed materials. 

4.3 You understand that the DFW Network Chamber is not responsible for all photos and videos other participants take at DFW Network Chamber events and activities.
